QorTek is seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Technician. As an accomplished technician, the candidate will work closely with other technicians, engineers, and program managers to accomplish daily electronic manufacturing tasks. QorTek offers competitive pay and employee benefits.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assemble products, test fixtures, and wiring harnesses per instructions or documentation

· Perform inspections to identify defects and irregularities

· Work with other technicians, engineers, and program managers to complete required tasking

· Modify, repair, and improve existing electronic products, equipment, and controls

· Assist in developing new or updated electronic systems, components, or products

· Reporting/Communicating progress/setbacks to Manufacturing Manager and Lead Technician

· Active team member who can collaborate with engineers ,technicians, and staff across the organization

· Mentor and guide other technicians when required

· Perform building maintenance tasks

· Other tasks as required by supervisor


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Proficient soldering skills

· Proficient in rework/customize PCB from original design/layout

· Ability to work effectively under a microscope

· Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity

· Understand drawings, technical manuals, and instructions to preform assigned tasks

· Basic machining skills preferred

· Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Detail oriented individual

· Problem solving

· Maintain an organized workspace

· Fluency in Microsoft Office Software Suite

· Other tasks as required to support the business objectives

· US Citizenship required

· IPC J-STD Certification preferred
