The Company is actively engaged in various stages of technology development from initial concept feasibility and reduction to practice all the way through advanced engineering and manufacturing of products to meet different customer requirements by integrating novel technology solutions into real-world hardware.

The experienced PCB Engineers are motivated designers who create innovative designs and solutions for electronics systems. QorTek engineers are involved with every step of the design process including: brainstorming concepts, modeling designs, fabricating/testing prototypes, and final parts manufacture/assembly. The PCBE1 must be motivated to learn the discipline of designing Printed Circuit Boards. Working with engineers of other disciplines to develop a system to meet the needs of the customer. While designing a PCB, learn the capabilities of PCB manufactures and which capabilities drive the cost, in order the maintain the price of the final product. Program durations range from 6 to 18 months in this fast-paced environment so you will get the opportunity to own your design from start to finish and see it transitioned into the warfighter’s hands.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Schematic Drawings
  • Creating Footprints for various parts
  • PCB Layout with appropriate constraints
  • Create documentation to support Manufacturing
  • Design for Manufacturing
  • Design for Testing
  • Work with other engineering disciplines
  • Communicate with internal and external Manufacturers for Fab and Assembly
  • Preparing progress reports and presentations for sponsors
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Earned BS in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Basic circuit Analysis and Troubleshooting Skills (Required)
  • Comfort with multitasking
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication capability
  • Knowledge in Analog and Digital Circuits
  • Basic Layout Experience (Required)
  • Other tasks as required to support the business objectives
  • US Citizenship (required)
