We are proud to introduce the newest member of the QorTek executive leadership team, Ken Crabtree. Ken joins us as Chief Financial Officer bringing extensive practical and military experience to the position.
Ken earned his B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University in State College PA. He went on to earn his M.S. in Systems Management at the Naval Postgraduate School. His experience in multiple financial management and leadership positions in his 23-year Marine Corps career ensure that he is more than qualified and ready to take on the challenge as CFO at our innovative company which is experiencing high growth and expansion. Positions such as, Deployed Controller (Iraq), Marine Corps’ Contingency Financial Lead (Iraq/Afghanistan), and Senior Financial Advisor to Afghanistan Ministry of Defense are impressive by themselves. However, they are only a few highlights of his Marine Corps officer career. His assignments in the Marine Corps and his work as the Lead Internal Auditor at Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory prepared him for his role as CFO at QorTek Inc.
Ken and his family reside in central PA where he and his wife, Stephanie, have three children: Moira, a 2020 PSU graduate, Jordan and Christian, who currently attend PSU. Additionally, Ken’s wife Stephanie works in Student Affairs at Penn State. They stay active taking their dogs, Jamie and Cassie, on daily walks or hikes in the Pennsylvania mountains. Ken comments about living in Pennsylvania, which highlights why most people who move here stay here. “Although Stephanie and I were fortunate to live and travel extensively throughout the United States during my military career, it is beautiful Pennsylvania where we have always felt most comfortable, maintained family, friendships, and residency (paid taxes!). We again continue to enjoy the all-encompassing Pennsylvania culture and that which we have always called home.”
