In the wake of recent substantial growth, QorTek, Inc. has relocated to a standalone, state-of-the-art facility in Linden, PA on February 1st, 2020 to enable our passionate employees to continue to innovate high-performance cost-effective material and power system solutions to the DoD and commercial industries’ most complex challenges.
The new Corporate Headquarters, Power Systems Research, and Manufacturing facility is a 21,000 sq. ft. facility located on 12 acres along the Susquehanna River adjacent to I-180/I-99/Rt 220. The solid all-brick construction was originally built in 1964 and was gutted and completely renovated into state-of-the-art electronics research and development labs as well as integrating a pick and place manufacturing line for electronic assemblies. The modern, key-card access, climate-controlled facility was designed to enhance QorTek’s efforts at supporting the defense industry, NASA, and commercial programs. QorTek has additionally invested heavily in the latest cyber-security protection for its critical computer systems to be compliant with DoD NIST-800-171 requirements.
The state-of-the-art facility presently houses 50 engineers, scientists, and support staff and will enhance QorTek’s ability to quickly innovate high-performance cost-effective solutions to meet the nation’s toughest defense power electronics and devices challenges. The new facility mirrors the recent expansion of QorTek’s Advanced Materials research and manufacturing center located in State College, PA and has established QorTek to be one of the largest high-tech electronics companies located in Central Pennsylvania. These infrastructure investments will enable QorTek ability to continue to grow the company in the foreseeable future.
